This is a total aside, but I love the high school’s mascot - the Poca Dots. The old school mean looking Dot on their gym wall is such an awesome throwback mascot. Always notice it when watching McKneely’s highlights or game tape.

The 247 Article was a subscriber only article. But 247 BB recruiting page lists UVA as having offered McKneely. Is this new news or that I simply missed that UVA offered earlier?

I know a lot of people want Justin Taylor on the team, and I also think he is a very good player/would be cool to have the hometown kid story/plays like a taller Kyle Guy as others have stated.
But we need a ball handler in 2022, whether it be a pure point like Dug McDaniels or a combo guard like McKneely or Rodney Rice (if they feel comfortable with McCorkle and Morsell’s ball handeling)
That being said, this is all depending on what our actual needs our since we don’t even have a 2021 commit yet 
(I get jealous when other schools are raking up commits).
I don’t see us taking both McKneely and Justin Taylor but I could be wrong. I would love for Justin Taylor to be a HOO.

Coming in very sneaky aren’t they. The Indiana 247 mod said he feels UVA IU and N.C. State are the leaders and if/when UVA pushes (meaning offer I suppose) we’d be hard to beat.

I was told the 22 class is on hold until the 21 class have more clarity. So im not sure a offer is coming soon. I hope we do offer and wrap this up. Im just sharing what I was told. Im just dying for good news.

I think they’re good to go with 2022. Just haven’t been able to evaluate many players. They might not know exactly who they’ll sign in November but they’ve settled firmly on the types and that’s all that really matters with TB. Big guard and a forward are what they’re determined to get, and I think they’re pretty far along in finding some solid fallback options for each too. Center is optional. Everything else is in play for '22, good to go.

I reported above last week that 247 had reported McKneely with an offer. That was an error by 247 as HoozGotNext followed up on.
