Absolutely incredible how poorly run Pitt is at this point. That was a program that was at the top of the elite Big East for years and earned multiple one seeds not that long ago. Now theyâve screwed up their contracts and everything so badly they canât afford to fire a guy who has made the tournament once in eight years. Itâs honestly sad.

In the modern age traditional recruiting matters much less (not zero of course). Doesnât matter how much the recruit likes one staff if the other is offering 300 grand more.
And anyway, I donât think UNM is at the top of the MW in resources, they didnât get a pac-12 invite, so presumably he punched above his money recruiting anyways

Damn, I wonât lie was a little surprised when I saw Thad was still coaching back in November when the Hoos played Butler in a ballroom.
He was a solid coach and a very good guy to be around. Dude knew ball.
