I don’t get the logic going back to the gimmicky/gadget offense that turned scouts off of him in the first place but wish him as much success as possible.

I seriously doubt TCU’s or UGA’s OL coaches are taking a demotion to come here, so they’d only be hired to be the OL Coach/OC, which I find highly implausible.
Otherwise we would’ve waited this long to hire a GA or analyst off their staff? I don’t see enough upside on that type of hire to wait this long.

Right, a GA or they have a ton of people in the admin staff that are essentially shadow coaches – I was thinking of them. Your right that it wouldn’t be a “hype move”, though I don’t think Tony really cares about that.

I know a certain amount of transferring is inevitable, but there are players leaving Virginia (like Kemp) that I wouldn’t think should have reason to want to leave. Is this is an indication of dissatisfaction with Elliott? A desire to avoid being reminded constantly about last year’s shootings? Something else?
Could be all of it. Also he seemed to be injured all the time for 1 or 2 years
