I’d be in favor of bringing Dex back in some capacity, would probably have to be as DC though in order to get him. Not sure he’d take being a position coach.
Also don’t know what the relationship is between him and our admin after the last HC search.

If you’re firing a coach who’s floor was like 10-11 wins, that’s a pretty major gamble. I mean ffs they literally were like a play or two away from playing in the title game last year. Who are they gonna get that’s a slam dunk to average better than the 11 win campaigns that Franklin was producing regularly? Only like 5-7 coaches in the country who would be and none of them are coming to PSU. Even for PSU, this is a little overboard. Paying him 50M not to coach? totally stunned by this news tbh (not that he got fired, but to do it this early in this season)
