Ewers did a prerecorded interview that was played in the lead up to the game (maybe 25 minutes or so before coin toss). He said that there wasn’t a scenario in his mind where he’s playing college ball next year. $6mill might say otherwise…

Everyone is going to be on Ohio State to win it all. ND OL is beat up and could struggle. I’ll take ND to cover though. This team is different. They have the speed to hang, especially on the defensive side.

OSU opening as 9.5 favs seems ridiculous to me. The O/U at 45.5 feels right for a defensive battle.

Osu has a clear weakness for covering backs going out on routes that could be exploited.

The ND dline should get healthy and they absolutely can get to Howard.

It’s crazy how as soon as we expand the playoffs there just suddenly isn’t an SEC team in the finals. And I’m sorry but this years Texas team doesn’t really count to prop up the conference… balance of power is shifting.

I do think expansion and letting it play out on the field helped a ton.

I would not say its a shift in the balance of power as more of a continued course correction. Last year no SEC teams played in the championship.

SEC was also hurt by losing their crown jewel a Nick Saban led Bama.

The biggest loss is the transfer portal+NIL. SEC squads just don’t have the depth they used to have

Awesome point. All those 2nd 3rd strings at uga bama etc jumping ship for PT and cash

The addition of some new, strong football programs to the SEC has also spread out the top recruits more. Those 4 and 5 stars that set their sights on playing in the SEC now have more choices (and some of the newer entrants are big spenders–for example the Texas schools and their oil money)

So much osu money coming in the line might reach 9.5 by KO

ND covers I like them outright. Also love how the guys coming to Ryan Days defense are the greatest Alabama coach ever and the greatest Michigan (college) player ever… like yeah sure I totally believe you guys and don’t think you just want a top 5 program/your Alma maters arch rival to keep a not great coach.

Seems the line is fair to me. I have $ on OSU to cover but I’ve been riding them all playoff. Don’t feel good about it

Edit: I do like the Notre Dame over 17.5

I use Fan Duel, then joined ESPN Bets when it launched just to get the promo. No major complaints with either, all equal prefer FD. But it’s cool to have a couple options and shop for the better odds.

*The Fan Duel odds boosts are cool…30% on tonight’s game for example, low max bet though, usually $10. ESPN’s promos aren’t as good.

Fan duel has some amazing perks. I dont use it mostly because I dont like the interface vut the perks are good.
