I know itās against a backup QB, and I know itās utilizing a level of talent that will likely never be seen at UVA, but goddamn itās hard to watch Al Goldenās ND defense and not come away really impressed.

@UVApride7 and @Hooandtrue yup as I said during the first drive I wish Al was coming home this offseason. Heās put together a stud defense. This is a backup QB who was one of the best recruits in the nation and led the comeback agaisnt Texas. He can play and the ND defense has stifled him and their rushing attack.
Also ND just won the first 4 of the 2nd half. Thatās finishing the 8 on a 17-0 run going from 3-3 to 20-0. Now UGA is playing from behind with backup QB agaisnt a front 7 that has dominated
Mobile QBs have hurt UGa all year and its happening now

Was Notre Dame really going to snap it on 4th and 1 from their own 20ā¦or did they only snap it because GA jumped? I think they were, given the trickiness of it. Gutsy/kinda dumb. Worked so genius either way.

If they wouldnāt have jumped he was 100% taking the delay of game. Or calling timeout I guess. I think the snap was byproduct of UGA miscue. Thatās on them lol
