Dukes is superior. Kind of like Ranch for me… hidden valley or nothing it is a cause of confrontation if anyone in my family offers me Kraft Ranch

Dukes is blech…
Best Foods is as it’s name suggests

Pretty sure Best Foods and Helman’s are the same product under different brands sorta like with Girl Scout cookies.

Agree 100% though on Best Foods but maybe it’s just what you grow up with/build your mayo paradigm on.

Hellmanns’s and Best Foods are the exact same thing. Hellman’s is sold east of the Rockies and Best Foods west of the Rockies.

Same as Edy’s and Dreyer’s ice creams and Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. restaurants.

You are sadly misinformed about Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s. They are not even close to the same. Just go eat at any Hardee’s and then go eat at Carl’s Jr. and you will know that that comparison is an affront to Carl’s Jr…

Something about the name Carl’s Jr is just an automatic no for me

I always want/expect Carla Jr to be different from Hardees and am disappointed when ita not despithe fact that ai like Hardees

Moved from CA to NC over 15 years ago … liked Carls Jr …. Only eaten at Hardee’s about 3 or 4 times … blah each time… I’m sure each location can be better or worse…
I’ve heard Hardee’s is decent for breakfast but b never go since we have Biscuitville here in NC - unrivaled for goodness and price.

Hardees does do a good breakfast but youre right Biscuitville or a Martins if you’re in the south blow Hardees away.

The D3 National Championship is just taking place? I remember when they would play that down in Salem City Stadium in early Dec. I’d pass Mt Union fans as I was driving home for the break.

The Stagg Bowl! I didn’t know it had left Salem. I went once a long time ago, was pretty cool game. D3 football is great. Guys that loved HS football so much they decided to do it again with longer bus trips. That’s a compliment sorta.

40 teams in the D3 playoff bracket! That’s awesome. Growing up, the Stagg Bowl is how I learned of exotic locales like Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Looking it up, and I guess the last regular time it was in Salem, I was actually living in Roanoke for the year. Looks like it rotates around now.

Yep I got respect for those D3 guys. I couldn’t/didn’t want to do it. The fans are passionate about it too. I knew a lot of guys who played for Bridgewater back in the day when they were at that top level and I knew a few Mt. Union guys.

The most striking thing watching the Stagg Bowl now is the size differential. Everyone across the board is so much smaller than a D2 or D1 athlete it’s striking to see 6’0 285 lb linemen.

In real life encounters… a 285 lbs athletic dude walking up to you looks like a beast. Similar to a 6’5" dude walking up to you looking really, really tall.

Funny how in sports talk, both are undersized. LOL!

Lol thats what I was thinking last night. I walk into a D1 locker room and everyone is my size and a few guys in the line bigger than me. I was bigger than everyone i saw playing last night and it wasnt really close.

I’m a casual these days on national (and UVA, too, frankly), college football, but it can’t be lost on anyone that every final 4 team is a team that hosted a first round game. Obviously they’re all very good teams, but avoiding a bye week and getting an extra home game to prep for the bowl week seems like a huge advantage.

I always thought the right number was 8, but obviously the TV folks prefer this. And they decide…

Has there been any chatter on this?
