Yes. Love this kid. Wow. Great for him

Thank you for remembering and sending

Kid is a gamer. Probably not going to be D3 for long. 37% from 3 on 7.6 attempts a game last season.

All i saw is a kid who never passes. Unless i missed it in the montage.

Id take that any day over 30 seconds of hot potato

If you’re a D3 kid capable of getting 40 against a power conference school, you better not be passing, haha. There’s no way anyone else on the team has a higher expected value of taking a shot.

Get so anxious when I see that format. But how many did RD score? He’s awesome on offense, right? Right?

Colt Langdon has back to back 30pt games at that event in North Carolina. The shooting forward whose dad was a former UVA footbal player and @HoozGotNext said staff probably want to recruit even if the fit isn’t there.

(4 3pers in this one vs Bliss’ school. Also the center on Bliss team mentioned UVA coaches hitting him up in a recent interview but im meh on that one)

Yeah, agreed. The center on Sharma’s team (I think he’s the center) intrigues me, though.

@HoozGotNext with Ryan Dunn’s success, could we come back into play Sadiq White? top 40 kid out of North Carolina who a lot of our staff (Williford Carpenter Wilkins) follow and Vandross has been out to see him as well I think (Myers park, same HS as Sir Mohammed and Bishop Boswell).

I know quotes dont mean much but these still stood out from Jamie Shaw’s recent interview

ā€œI’ll want to win, that is first and foremost for me. I want to go somewhere that I will develop. I don’t want to just be thrown out there and be raw as a player, I want to go somewhere that is going to invest in me."

If that’s not a veiled cry for a TB redshirt, I don’t know what is…

If and when Dunn goes pro, if you had to choose one of the options below what would you choose if they became available in the portal (various circumstances/henry coleman maybe wants to play close to home and texas a&m underperforms this year for example).

  • Igor Milicic
  • TJ Power
  • Trey Kaufman
  • Henry Coleman
  • Roll with Leon Bond as a small ball 4 and Cofie at the 4 spot. Also maybe more Buchanan + Robinson lineups

Coleman would be perfect for us at the 5 this year as a big time post scorer and rebounder, but I don’t think he’s as good of a fit next year when we’ll have a more seasoned BB, Robinson, and Cofie who can all hopefully fill that role in the aggregate. We’re gonna need somebody who can really space the floor at that 4 spot.

I’d welcome Igor back if he wanted to transfer here tbh.

Yeah from social media interactions and what not it seems Igor is still pretty friendly with UVA staff and players. That and I remember hgn saying staff were pretty upset with him transferring/they tried hard to keep him when he left but were still on friendly terms with him and pops to find a good landing spot.

Would only have one year left which would lead to smooth transition to Cofie. And Sanchez on staff couldnt hurt. Charlotte will also probably be looking for a new coach to replace the current interim which would give him an out in the transfer portal.

Igor’s probably developed enough to get some decent Euro contract offers. Not sure another year at UVA helps him improve on that. But I don’t know him and what his motivations are, obviously.

Wouldn’t Igor have to sit out a year since he already transferred?

Not if coaching change I believe.

I’m not sure about this, thought I saw a post saying otherwise or that it wasn’t guaranteed yesterday.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but it seems to me that the NCAA could solve some of its problems by just defining the rules around this/1time transfer rules, and still allow for appeals, but at least define it so people know the rules at all
