NIL is making the movie Blue Chips a documentary rather than fiction⦠other than Shaq was a 40 year old HS senior which seemed unbelievable.
dang dude do you ever just let yourself be happy about anything
Iām still down on this staff but theyāre at least out there showing urgency and making moves. Very excited to see what we can do with a legit QB. Still have work to do but next years schedule is far more manageable, and itās sink or swim time. Even if we suck again Iām at least enjoying a transfer window for once. Itās a nice distraction from hoops haha
I am happy weāre playing the game. No more excuses.
Had 9.5 sacks this past season.
Any relation to Dexter?
Donāt think so. No mention of it on his Mercer bio.
This would be HUGE
Anytime the NCAA tries to restrict anything, they get sued and lose. Canāt blame em for getting tired of that and not try to enforce restrictions anymore.
Should be some movement on the o line portal front this week.
and there goes fields
Iāll go ahead and put in my low confidence crystal ball for Penn State there.
Iām glad that we made a substantial offer to a proven performer Virginia kid. But Iām not sure that a RB is where we should invest a good chunk of our budget.
I know itās not apples to apples, but look at where NFL teams spend their cap. QB, Edge, OL, WR, DT, CB are the top priorities.
Thereās probably like 100 RBs out there who would look good or at least competent behind a good o-line. Thereās maybe like 10 who would look good even behind a bad o-line, and we canāt afford them. (Numbers made up obviously to illustrate the point)
So yeah, Iād invest in the line and other pieces first and then bring in a couple of lower level backs with potential and see who shakes out. But I would not throw big money at RBs myself. Especially early in the process.
we shoulda put the franchise tag on him.
Like you said, and I donāt know which rb youāre referencing, but if itās a high school that produces D1 talent, itās a good investment.
