the 5pm slot was rest time for our guys I think. Nothing of interest so they vanished. Griff just popped up for the tail end of Boo Williams vs Jet Academy.

6:30 slotā¦Itās 2027 action for Odom/Henry. Theyāre watching Vegas Elite vs Mokan 16u. Vegas has stud big man Obinna Ekezie (offer). Matt Henry was watching this same MoKan 16U team yesterday morning. They have a couple highly ranked players, forward Cameron Barnes and wing Malachi Jordan. The point guard Tyson Pogi has been the one tearing it up and turning heads though.

Meanwhile, Griff and his shoes that are far too loud for a man his age are over watching JL3 vs Why Not. Aziz Olajuwon is probably going to Houston but why not ask and see. Heās a stud, hard to believe he isnāt rated a lot higher.

You get that guy to go along with Mallory, youāve got the best sub 6 foot point guard combo in the country. Heās 59-116 (51%) from 3 this summer, accounts for about 70% of his shots though, not much inside the arc. And since Mokan pairs him with another little dude, heās used off the ball a lot.
Heās at 24 points and counting in front of Odom, 6-10 from 3.

And I think thatās a wrap for today. No sign of Odom or his minions for Christian Gibson or anyone else. I noticed when Odomās last game ended early, Griff bolted up out of his seat for the exit. probably catching his ride back to the hotel.

I donāt know for sure, itās 180 turn from last month if theyāve pulled out. I doubt itās related to his play. My guess is they tried to advance things in the time between and didnāt like the response. A lot of recruitments suddenly end in late June/early July for those reasons. Bennett made a bunch of now or never calls this time of year. May not be that, like I said I donāt knowā¦but something has probably happened thatās made Odom believe Gibson wonāt be coming to UVA.

That guy blew up last week, from nothing. Heās from Bermuda, is on one of the IMG B teams or that was the plan. He played at the NBA Academy games last week in Atlanta, picked up a bunch of big offers. I donāt think he had any before that. One article said he would be playing for an unspecified AAU team this weekend in Los Angeles, not sure if thatās Adidas or what.
