Timely post. My garage door doesn’t shut unless I hold the garage door button. Any ideas new friend?

It seems like a sensor problem! Your garage door’s safety sensors are probably misaligned, clogged, or dusty if it only closes when you press the button. Make sure both sensors are illuminated and aligned, and try cleaning the lenses. Tell me if it resolves the issue!
