Yup @SeanJCrow I’m gonna be there too. Looking to bring a shot of energy to the whole thing.

Need to get you two sideline passes to bring the energy up close and personal.

I’ve always been known for my pre-game speeches. My guess is, there will be so few people there that the bench will have no problem hearing my voice.

GT was literally giving tickets away with basketball season ticket purchases last week. And there are tons of tickets available even with FT’s resurgence of late. Plus it’s going to be unseasonably cold down here.

Today is the rare day with at least one game in each of the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. So naturally the sports world will be tuned into the matchup of two ACC football behemoths this evening…

Those two behemoths will be pounding on my eyelids while I sleep. LOL!

Yep wasn’t close, at home no less

Beating Miami, CC and @VT to get to 6-6 and a bowl game isn’t quite as impossible sounding as it did a few days ago. Hell, Pitt doesn’t look all that imposing these days either.

We just have to actually score some points. What other team hasn’t scored more than 20 against FBS competition this season and has 2 wins where they scored 16 points? Seems we can only score enough to beat teams with truly putrid offenses. Of those left on our schedule, that’s VT, maybe Miami with Garcia at QB and maybe the Pitt that showed up at UL.

Iowa would like a word averaging 14 ppg to the Hoos 17… and I’d say their offense is far more broken than Virginia’s. The Hoos offense has moved the ball somewhat but they self sabatoge and don’t complete drives. All that said they are both bad.

I do see a path to 6 wins which would be massive for this program and Coach Elliott going forward. The ACC is slowly falling apart and reverting to it’s old self.

We have to remember Georgia Tech was already a mediocre team and they were playing with their back up qb. And that we only scored 3pts in the 2nd half. A win is huge for the psyche of the players but I dont know if that win was hope inspiring for a bowl game yet.

You are right the same level of play we showed at GT will not get us to 6-6. Given the pieces on the offensive side … I think it is still reasonable to believe this team will improve enough to do it.

We do have to play better to get to 6 wins. The team we’ve seen so far is looking at 4-8 or 5-7. I think Miami is a must-win if we’re gonna bowl, so that improvement better happen now.

This season feels like such a missed opportunity. The only “good” teams on our schedule are Illinois, UNC, and Syracuse (and none of them are world-beaters). Everyone else is “meh” or worse. All we had to do was be “meh” ourselves, but we couldn’t cross that bar.

It’s very unlikely we get to 6. We still aren’t playing better, smarter football. Y’all should temper expectations. We might catch a break Saturday with another backup qb
