Vecenie and Seth Partnow did a redraft of Dre’s draft. They talked about taking him as high as 3, but he fell to 7, because of concerns he can’t stay on the court. Here’s hoping he stays healthy.

How is he in game shape? That’s amazing

Actually I prefer KG being able to score a lot this game.

What do our resident NBA folks think of the Reddish to the Knicks trade:

  • Did the Hawks get fleeced (Kevin Knox plus the Hornets first round pick - probably non-lottery, right?)?

  • Does this reflect ATL’s faith in Dre, despite the injury concerns?

They already have Huerter who does the same things as Reddish - but better offensively - they have Hunter who is just as good offensively and better defensively. They have Bogdanovich too. And they drafted the younger Jalen Johnson this year who they can keep longer - they would have had to pay Reddish a ton on his extension to keep him this summer.

I feel like they could have gotten a bit more but that Charlotte pick may be lottery with the way the play in works. They needed to trim down the rotation

Really? I know Reddish is playing better this season and was a lottery pick himself, and he hasn’t been terrible overall, but he doesn’t strike me as being someone worth a ton or worth a big (or even mid-sized) contract yet.

I don’t follow too closely, but I think some ATL fans were still very high on him. Someone on the Sabre pointed out that the extension is coming this offseason, so the Knicks would still have to decide whether he’s worth paying.
