Hoos Going Pro 2022-23 NBA Season

Would be crazy if Davis beats out Guy and then Ty for roster spots?

Love that for Ty and also needed a HELOC powered credit card.

Can someone explain the implications of this for Ty? I have no idea about how contracts are structured and what this means.

My understanding is it makes Ty a Warrior next season. But another team can sign him but they have to match or improve on the 1.7mil qualifying offer.

Basically sets the floor for his services next year.

Just seen on Instagram where Kihei had signed with Utah for the summer league i guess. He got about 2 congratulations before the fight started. Is Kihei going to be a lightning rod forever?

The Jazz will either win the Summer league championship now or he’ll have a late game turnover to lose most games

That’s great news for Ty. Was being widely reported that the offer wouldn’t be extended.

Cali taxes no joke but couldn’t be a better fit.

<insert joke about how little $1.7mm will get you in the Bay Area>

Well, we know it gets you Ty

Kinda like this tbh. If Cade is healthy he’s gonna be really good and Ivey is as well. Lotta open 3s for joe

Harris isn’t a great contract, nets aren’t getting anything in return, just dumping salary, but I agree he can be useful locker room presence for all those young guys, ala a late career JJ reddick.

Bet he gets bought out

Joe’s contract is valuable to the Pistons… it’s an expiring deal. All about cap space for the following season.

100% it’s all about the cap space. Not surprising that Joey Hoops is the first causality of the Nets moving forward. Detroit could give him an opportunity to jack up a ton of 3s and get plenty of regular rotation to find the rhythm he had a few seasons ago

We should probably face the facts that Joe is kind of washed now. Lots of injuries and poor playoff performances

He’s definitely not worth the $72mil on his deal. But could be a nice vet minimum guy on a contender.

Unfortunately, I think this is probably correct. He had that one big opportunity for the Nets when one (or more?) of the big three was hurt in the playoffs, and the Nets needed Joe to step up, and he mostly didn’t really rise to the moment.

He also had two ankle surgeries. And he is 31 now. . .

I think Brogs and Joe may be reaching the end of their NBA time which is why Ty and Dre need to step it up a bit. And TM3 needs to get that max deal
