Mamadi and Ty reunion. And cheaper taxes/real estate market

Nice, they should be on TV a lot, too

Since the Warriors extended Ty the QO they still have 2 days to match this offer, if so Ty sticks with Golden State. Seems like a good situation either way (could even be the Main Cleveland backup if he ends up there, a broken Rubio would be his main competition as of right now)

Warriors fans are crying in the thread.

Didn’t think Cleveland would jump in the water but that’s a team looking to make moves. Ty could carve out a niche

I think Cleveland structured the deal so Warriors can’t match due to being above the second apron, per Hollinger.

Ahhh, smart of the Cavs then. I would guess he ends up having a bigger role in Cleveland unless they bring in another guard

Warriors shouldn’t have small dollared him, esp given the cost of living in the bay area.

Crazy smart move by the Cavs. Really like the offseason they are putting together

Their cap situation made it so that they only had minimum contracts to offer, which is what they did, but then Cleveland pushed it just out of their range to match.

I’m not a cap expert but did they need to give Green that much money?

If ai recall he opted out to take less to help them. I wanna say he was owed 27 or 30 before the new deal. And if the choice is Green or Ty well that’s pretty simple.

I get the digs at Green but he’s as much a face and key component to the whole thing as Klay and Steph.

It’s a littler harder in the NBA to do things the Patriot way and have long term success. GSW experiencing that now with Green and Klay on deals they can’t fully live up to.

I think Sacramento was going to drive up greens price too

GSW also has to pay up because their window is closing. It is apparent that sooner rather than later one of Klay or Draymond is going to be washed. And at the point, you just have regrets if you didn’t pay up

I agree. GSW tried the dual era’s thing and have basically punted on that to go win now. That means Green stays.

Yes. Sacramento drove up the price and losing him would be the death kneel to their dynasty

Kyle Guy in the news too. Don’t know whether this means he is definitely going to the G-League?
