Hoos Going Pro 2022-23 NBA Season

They’re barely a class higher. Still shitty.

Are we sure OKC isn’t in that class? If anything I’d say Orlando has a path forward with Cole Suggs and Pancherro. I still don’t know what OKC is doing and Im not sold that banking on a shaky frame Chet is a blueprint for success.

But have you considered that there is a dog food factory in OKC?

Genuinely laughed at that and have no response other than a heart does not do enough credit for how much I liked that comment.

No one is as shitty as Sacramento.

I think Orlando has done a good job recently. But Presti has created some great and very good teams in a small market

How much PT is he getting this year?

Sacramento makes me believe the lottery is rigged. That bad for that long and cant buy a no.1 pick

Sacramento’s shown they can’t be trusted with high draft picks. The league knows this.

Good lord that is an awful list of draft picks. The number of lottery picks that I have no recollection of is staggering.

Wow. Anyone looking for witness protection, just go get drafted by the Kings.

I was thrilled Kyle Guy got drafted. I wasn’t happy with who drafted him.

What happened to Bagley?

A little of everything, really. He’s injured all the time, and when he does play he’s underwhelming. His counting stats are fine (14p/7r per game), but he hasn’t played 50 games in a season since his rookie year, and advanced metrics say he’s been a below average player every season. For the #2 overall pick, that’s disappointing.

He’s on the Pistons now, and I think he’s doing ok.

Im shocked that his layover in Durham didn’t prepare him for his NBA career.

Maybe he figures it all out. I remember at Duke he didnt seem to be all in. My opinion

It’s a sample but have other Duke players had injury issues in the pros besides him and Zion?

Curtis is a differentiator!

Harry Giles (who was drafted by Portland but the Kings traded for him on draft day) only averaged about 15 minutes/game during his brief NBA career. To be fair, I think his knees were already shot by the time he got to Duke.

Edit - People say Brogdon’s medicals were “all time bad”, and I don’t doubt they raised red flags, but they couldn’t possibly have been in the ballpark of being as bad as Giles’.

Seems like almost every NBA guy has injury issues at some point. Joe maybe all of last year? I think Malcolm has through the years. Dre as well. The NBA is so brutal and demanding I think

Curtis is huge of course for your 3-4 years

Yup. This gentleman and his knees agree (leader in games played)
