Whoa. I missed that
can’t say I blame them they went all im this summer and have shown 0 improvement. That trip to the ECF was the one every Eastern Confrence team gets every 15 yrs

Imagine Tony trying to redshirt an NBA player. But at the same time they are getting paid regardless so maybe
 just maybe

Isnt a rookie on a 1st round contract in the Gleague essentially redshirted? They still make the contract money correct? Do all the basketball things just not on the full team

Indictment on Trae Young from CBS Sports
you could be reading the same thing about Caleb Love in several years

Ask yourself: What NBA-caliber coach couldn’t stand on the sideline and watch Trae Young run a thousand pick-and-rolls while everyone else stands still? Throw in Murray for some one-on-one stuff, and you’ve got your Hawks offense, which, this season, qualifies as below average. If you can’t pull a top-10 offense, at a bare minimum, out of a team led by Trae Young, you’ve got to go.

Young is not particularly good at defense nor interested in it. You can’t be but so good in that situation.

No team will bw successful with the current version of Trae Young. In addition to coaching prospects being gun shy about him. There are plenty of players who are as well.

Young is quickly falling into a similar position that Luka is in and Harden was in for a long time. Phenomenal talent but so ball dominant just poinding the air out of the thing like a game at the Yum center. Difficult to coach or play with that
