I said it before but love all the Celtics content win or lose … 2 hour and 27 min postgame show after the loss … would love UVA to up our content - regardless of results.

The Celtics offense is painful to watch. They’ve got guys who can make difficult shots, and when those shots are falling, they can win. But if those shots don’t fall, there’s no Plan B. No post presence, no movement, no ways to create shots besides isolation. I think a healthy Malcolm might have helped last night, but not sure it would have been enough to make a difference.

What is the Celtics offense? Serious question. I feel like they run no sets and do a lot of watching while Tatum Brown or Smart drive and maybe kick.
They could benefit from a true pass first pg. Someone who can initiate offense and is not a walking TO.

Don’t have any guards with wiggle that can create: Brogdon, Smart and White all too similar. Also if Tatum doesn’t get hurt on the first play and Brogdon completely useless … probably still win. If Brogs doesn’t get hurt in the 1st game - it also likely doesn’t get to the 7th game. Unfortunately he hasn’t been able to shake the injury bug in the NBA.

For all the talent the Celtics have it’s a bit of a poorly constructed roster the pieces don’t compliment one another.
The Tatum injury made a massive difference last night but still a team with their aspirstions and talent can’t let Celeb Martin beat you.

Yeah they don’t have any “shooters”, except for Hauser and I don’t know if he played last night? But also- when he did play in previous games Miami ran him off of the line with Duncan Robinson!!! So Sam needs to work on his dribble game, OR Celtics really need a better offense to allow him to be a floor spacer without having to dribble.

No idea, but those European contracts seem to be very short term, and usually not guaranteed. Tobey has bounced around quite a bit, albeit at pretty high levels.
