Maher has been a blast to watch throughout her career. She is a punishing runner and is solid at the breakdown. But I’d say Kirshe is their best player and secret weapon.

Is being a forward in 7s more fun (compared to 15s) because you get to rumble more into open space with the ball, or less fun because you do more running overall?

Depends on your preference. I always liked it because of the open space and getting to show off some ball skills. But 7s also sucks because it took away what I was really good at set pieces and the ruck

That was so impressive. Both teams were gassed and led to a ton of unusual mistakes and dopped passes. The biggest part may have been that she made the conversion. you’d be amazed how often that gets botched in those situations
