Oh cool. Curt moved from Lynchburg? Harris went to Alcoa earlier in HS I guess
Yessir. Some guy started that brand new school and recruited Curt to run the hoop team
Why would they put them near the Houston bench? Never seen that before.
Just standing to watch shoot around most likely.
There were two other visitors. One I’ve heard was Georgetown transfer Dante Harris. And the other looked like Jarin Stevenson to me, haven’t confirmed though.
Jarin Stevenson- now that gets me excited!!!
Thought I saw Jarin behind our bench before the game.
The UNC 247 board mentioned Jarin was coming up as well.
a 2024 guard out of North Carolina on our radar, Bishop Boswell, has been playing really well. He had a meh summer but he really has been asserting himself more and shooting the 3 ball way better.
Im sure he will get his chances to be evaluated more as there is a 2025 kid on his high school team like our entire staff follows on twitter (Sadiq White). Sir Mohammed is also on the same team.
Big physical lead guard who can play with other point guards/combos. A Brogdon type in my opinion. At the moment, he’s most likely headed to either Georgia or Wake Forest I think. @bfmcap I recall you being familiar with the team, what say you? Or anyone familiar with NC hoops (@J.Cotton off the top of my head)
14 pts, 8 rebounds, 5 assists in a win vs Reed Sheppard
and had a near triple double

Think this kills the Kayvaun dream. Dont see him leaving the northeast if UConn is hard after him. Need that size and athleticism at the guard spot.
Damarien Yates has been popping off some. His rebounding numbers are really strong. And he shows some skills as well.
He’s the kind of player whose instant impact is going to be that rugged glue guy forward spot who can rebound hustle and defend but also hit an open 3, but he has that potential to develop into more of a skilled forward. Maybe not DeAndre Hunter but like that Arthur Kaluma kid on Creighton.
And after watching yesterday’s game I will take a tough kid at the 4 spot any day. Not a national recruit just yet but his name is picking up some steam. Saw him as a standout at some tournament he was at alonside LaBaron Philion (that other alabama point guard) and two other top 50 2024 kids.
Has had more than 1 game with 20+ rebounds LOL
I like Boswell Bishop. Be nice to have another BB on the roster. Seriously he looks pretty good
Bishop Boswell is the UNC board’s equivalent of Ty Davis lol. A lot of their fans want him to be offered bad/think he would be the perfect 2024 pg to add to Simeon Wilcher and Elliot Cadeau who they think they will get in 2023 (more smoke with Elliot Cadeau and UNC. Apparently he likes their big brand in terms of boosting his already growing stockpile of NIL deals)
Boswell has developed faster than I thought. The quality of his jump shot his has improved and he has improved a lot defensively. It will be good CG in the long run.
(A better fit would have been if he was Team United or TSF rather than CP3.)
@KarlHess with the find. Officially a torn acl for Elijah Gertrude.
Figured as much. With how far acl repair has gone we see kids bounce back fairly often (that Shaedon Simpson kid with the 41 inch vertical after his ACL repair).
Wonder if he redshirts next year too to spend the year with curtis strengthening that knee. If he is already recovering after surgery and beginning the strengthening process he could absolutely be ready day 1 next season.
I believe his injury was right before he committed to UVA on 247sports so he may already be along in his healing/recovery process
The OTE games (eliot cadeau oop) were mid-October and his commitment was mid-September so injury must have been in the last two months.
Good luck with rehab, Elijah.
