Im okay with passing on ‘23 now. Give me Freitag/Perry, Kon, Abraham/Williams, Serber. Then a grad transfer 1 year big for next season.

Going thru Sorber’s Peach Jam stats, he was 4-10 from 3, and averaged 1.8 blocks. Gimme bigs that can stretch the floor and protect the rim all day, it’s like double value in one guy. The fact that he needs some work physically is the only reason he’s in play for UVA.
Assistants have been up there twice to see him this Fall. Assume they’re offering because they kinda have to now to have a shot. He’s talked about committing by spring. It’s also one of these recruitments that could become irrelevant depending on what they do with transfers.

He’s been popping off a little for Huntington Prep. A slightly taller Reece with a comfortable 3pt shot (no idea if he’s the floor general like Reece but he also plays with more tenacity and emotion). Hope he’s still on our radar.
