That totally makes sense. Lacrosse is such a regionalized sport. Flordia is not a hot bed for talent like Nova/DMV. The argument you make is also the one I make for why the US could be a monster in rugby if we actually got top tier athletes.

Oh hell yeah sign me up for that

Love you Hav, but you mean Reece who can’t bench the bar and Kihei who had to catapult his shot to get it to the rim for his first three years?

Say what you will about lacrosse players but they have to hit the gym. It’s more of an endurance sport than football and a sport that relies on strength way more than basketball does.

On top of that, the skill that lacrosse takes is pretty underrated. Anybody can pick up a basketball and play pick up. Lacrosse takes way more time than that merely to learn to throw and catch.

Not trying to put lacrosse ahead of anything but don’t think it deserves the hate…

Between this and the pic of your weights setup, we need the Dragon ā€œget yokedā€ program.

Ha spend a few weeks with me and you’ll be yoked for sure. We dont play down here.

Mission accomplished. Got @brogdonfanpage and @HoozGotNext away from the recruiting/news grind. Love both of em. Zach has great lacrosse hair which is 50% of being good at lacrosse. Also, lacrosse is really fun according to my son. So there’s that. It made my hate list because of the practice time and the logistics for me and my family. But I digress….

So who has better athletes-soccer or lacrosse? Both sports are tier 3 or 4 athletes. Yes there are exceptions I know. So save that. Someone give me best two athletes in Lax ever vs best two athletes in soccer ever. I have no clue.

Herschel Walker made the bobsled team one Olympics.

Edit: should’ve read down first and would’ve seen @haney’s response.

Golfers are better athletes than baseball players. Your average 10 handicap could easily make the major leagues if he lost 50 IQ points, gained 50 pounds, and became way more boring to watch.

Terry Kirby could have been a pro in any sport he chose to pursue. Ask @DFresh11 - that includes all sports but also Bobsled, Luge, and fencing.

That made me laugh. Seriously. I see pro golfers every week here in Jupiter. They are good at golf. But they aren’t even close to professional baseball players in terms of size speed and strength. Even the ā€œbigā€ ones like DJ and Brooks. Agree they have great hand eye coordination but they are physically unimpressive as a group.

Ah man. this is exactly wrong and why Hav is right. And you know I love you Boy Wonder

Well, you seem to want to define ā€œathleticismā€ in such a way that only you can win the argument. I have a more objective way to define it. Money. Tiger woods vs whoever the richest baseball player ever is. Who ya got?

Golfers are a sunny day away from being bowlers. Neither are athletes but are still 10 times the athlete of your avg pitcher

Athlete, schmathlete. I still have a couple years before I reach the age that Phil Neikro was when he was mowing down batters in the mid 80s, and I think that’s pretty amazing. On a serious note, I’m pretty sure that 4 day rest is what enabled CC to keep his alcohol habit going…

Cops at the local Krispy Creme are better athletes than your average pro golfer

Side note: Joe and Phil Neikro grew up across the street from @chavlicek15 s dad.
