The NBA playoffs have been strange this year. I donāt remember a year where games were so one-sided so early in that particular game. I may be drinking too much in anticipation but the last week has been poor viewing for the neutral.
Not neutral, I want UVA dudes to get rings so Hauser and Guy. I only get one but those are my teams
Would be nice if we could get a close game in the 4th quarter before the season ends.
Crazy the number of blowouts in this yearās post season. Saw a stat last week about it, thinking itās something like 70% have been double digit blowouts this year.
Miami mailed that game in. They want to win the next one at home and then try to close it out in Boston with Game 7 back at their place. I like our chances better. B
They didnāt show up at all, the Heat couldnāt throw a rock into the ocean all night. I do think they feel very comfortable that they can win the next one at home and knowing they have Game 7 back in Miami they see it 2 shots to close out. Missing Herro hurt, thatās a lot of offense gone missing. But It was good to see Oladipo get some increased run and continue to round into shape. Heās a wild card for sure.
Man did people actually live in those no AC dorms during the summer?! By early 2000s, most of the athletes would stay in Cauthen/Woody which had central air.
Dorms were closed in summer. we either had apartments after first year or stayed with someone who had one ha. Me and @chavlicek15 and Big Red had a house on Monroe 3rd year by student health. Effectionately known as The Shitter. No chance we had AC in that place
Thats legit!
Sous Vide is so cool but you need the time. I thinks itās great but itās a process. Have to crisp it up at the end. Miss my Green Egg which is in storage right now!
I love Sous Vide⦠we make our steaks in it every Sunday night.
Edit: forgot I currently have 4x Pork Tenderloins in the Sous Vide right now for a family dinner.
What?! Nobody puts baby in the corner @chavlicek15
F is Sous Vide? Is that french for dirty Life?
French for straight banginā
hahahhahah. touchƩ
Means āunder vacuumā in French
Hereās a picture of my tenderloins right nowā¦
2 hours at 145 degrees then pan seared to perfection.
Jazznut continues to be the most interesting man in the world. And sometimes the most literal
I agree. I am transitioning homes and in a rental. I had to choose between my 3 kids and the Green Egg. And it wasnāt an easy decisionā¦.
I was a camp counselor and we lived in Fitzhugh for six week stints during three different summers. Survival tips were strip to your boxers at night and sleep on top of your sheets with a box fan set up a few feet away. That and three showers a day. After about a week your body starts to adapt to it.
