One of the coolest things I got to do was play in front of Majerus when he was recruiting an All American player from my NAIA alma mater to Utah on the spring of 1996. A few of us former players along with some current players came in to run games in front of Majerus so he could see Raymond Tutt play up close. Memory is fuzzy but I don’t think I missed that day in about 2 hours. 
Tutt decided to go to UCSB instead and I think if he goes to Utah they probably win it all in ‘98. He was the scorer that team needed. Went to UCSB and immediately scored 24 pts a game shooting 47% from 3 and 53% from 2 as a shooting guard.
