Either their uniforms were literally burlap sacks or everyone on Green Bay lost 100 lbs during pre-season. Hand-me-down jerseys for 8-year olds playing Pop Warner look like custom tailored uniforms compared to those.
I’m not sure anyone cares or not, but Kneuppel or Knüppel (German spelling w/ the umlaut) means club (caveman stick not dance and drink establishment) as a noun, but means bludgeon as a verb, however it is missing the conjugation suffix… the infinitive is knüppeln.
I’m sure there is a clever nickname in there somewhere…
