They’ve been playing much better since taking Maryland to triple OT a couple of weeks ago.
The ACC schedule is gonna determine Virginia’s season. Duke, Syracuse, and UNC the next three weekends.

The AQ is still up for grabs. They do seem to have figured some things out and are about to play the rest of the ACC teams. We’ll know a lot more after the next few weeks. A few more wins against good teams could get them back in the conversation for an at-large spot, even if they don’t run the table at the ACCT.

The ACC does not have enough members for men’s lacrosse to get an AQ… you need 6 or more schools who compete and we’ve only had 5 for a while. Only 4 for a long time before Syracuse.
Not sure what neurons were firing there, I knew that! I do think if we have a strong showing in the next few weeks and win the ACCT title we would get a berth but it would not be automatic. Thinking about it I dont think the ACC has ever had an AQ in lax–even back in my day we just had 5 schools (before UMd left and NC State went to a club sport).

We had 6 for 1 year after Syracuse joined, but before Maryland left for the Big Ten. 2014 if I remember correctly.
