I think we just squeezed are way into a post season berth. Need to finish strong but resume is much improved given the turnaround and our RPI and SoS.
Great team effort today. Entertaining game for sure.
Hoos are up 9-5 against #1 seed Notre Dame at the half in the ACC semis. Hope I havenât jinxed them.

Wow, credit to Lars Tiffany and the players for turning this season around.
This has been one hell of a dramatic turnaround.
Weâre up 11-2 on UNC in the ACC title game late in the 2nd quarter.
Really good defense and GK Marek is playing out of his mind, including a circus save against a point blank shot while lying flat on his back. Offense is clicking too.
First ACC title since 2019.
Was a dominant 11-0 stretch in the first half.
Nothing would make me happier than seeing them compete for a title at Scott StadiumâŠ
Super fun game to watch on both ends. ACC champs!
The Hoos just dominated the #1 and #2 menâs lacrosse programs over this weekend. They are firing on all cylinders with tremendous team talent. It wouldnât surprise me at all to see them playing in Scott Memorial Day weekend.
Not to nitpick but UNC is not the number 2 lacrosse program. Maybe number 2 team this year but not program
Wait, what? What does this even mean?
Anyway, rankings are all over the place. ESPN had ND at 1 and Carolina at 5. We beat two top five programs/teams this weekend. Based on rankings. Weâre not ranking historical programs, man.
ND and UNC were ranked #1 and #2 in the NCAA rankings as of May 2nd. Thatâs what I meant. Not all time.
Last 3 years? Last 4 years? Idk the exact cutoff but itâs more than just one season. No one would say Indiana is the top football program at the moment. UConn is the number one menâs basketball program right now, not Michigan. UConn and USCe are the two top womenâs basketball programs, not UCLA. Notre Dame and Maryland (
) are the top two lacrosse programs right now
Dunkel with maybe the goal of the year!!!
Craaaazy
Bracket is below.
Hoyas and Big East website seems to be down so canât do any research on Georgetownâs record. They won the Big East and riding a 7 game win streak (started 3-4). Started the season ranked 5th.
If we win Sunday night, would face Duke (lost in OT) or Richmond (embarrassed us early season). Would rather play U of R even if its away (closer to me) give our history with Duke.
UVA beat Duke in Durham
Ah thatâs right, confused it with our home loss to UNC.
