Related to UNC and the NIT, regardless of the decision, I think it was a mistake to make a decision while emotions were still running high. They hadn’t even received a bid yet.

Hubert should have had his team do a secret ballot on whether to participate in the NIT, and then he should have announced to the team, “I counted the ballots, and I’m not going to tell you the exact vote tally, but I will tell you that my vote counted for 20. Now, here’s what we as a team decided…”

I know Pitt has a very good offense by the numbers, but I do not enjoy watching them run offense, especially when Sibande gets the ball. Not a lot of ball or player movement, just high ball screens over and over again.
I wouldn’t want to play Miss St. They have the kind of defense that causes us problems.
They have some offensive challenges, as they attempt to win games like they didn’t know the 3pt shot was invented. 26.6% from 3 on the year, which is dead last in D1, and they accordingly do not take many 3s. It’s kinda funny watching them put two guys in the corner and Pitt treating them like they do not exist.
I’m still not sure how we lost to Pitt.
