UVA hit a home run hiring Mark and Grant to run Squash.
Itās kind of sad that UVA is remarkably dominant at non-revenue sports and hits home run after home run when hiring those coaches. But theyāre non-revenue sports so it utterly doesnāt matter.

Couldnāt tell you the first thing about squash but Iāll never forget that time they showed our player who looked like he could be starting outside linebacker make a winning play and yell in that 5ā3ā 145 lb dude from one of the ivys face on sports center. Probably 15-18 years ago does anyone else remember this?

Squash center was built inā¦ 2013, maybe? And squash was technically still a club sport for at least 2-3 years after that (albeit the womenās team was already showing up on some top 25 rankings). If it was really 15 years ago, Iām curious what exactly was happening.
Ok found the video sad to report back it wasnāt a UVA guy. Whatās bad is I really thought it was since this Rome is Burning episode in 2010ā¦. Now I gotta learn something about UVA Squash.

Fresh you pickle? We got a neighborhood court thatās basically in my backyard. Started playing this past spring we enjoy it. Although oftentimes the wind doesnāt cooperate.

Nonsense. Squash is a great game. Pickleball is moderately fun but it cannot be taken seriously because a wiffle ball is involved.

About 10 or 12 years ago I was working a couple blocks from Grand Central Station and would take the subway there to get to work. One day I saw that they had built a huge transparent box and some sort of temporary stands in the building and guys were hitting balls with rackets inside. I thought they were playing racquetball, but it was a squash tournament.
