Gonna move eligibility talk/quasi-legal musing over here:
I’m wondering if Zeigler’s lack of particular individual circumstances are going to hurt him here…seems like judges are somewhat allergic to making too broad of a ruling (e.g. in the Fourqurean case, the judge really wanted it to only apply to the particular player), and Zeigler’s case has some “open the floodgates” potential.
Also, I missed that there was a case in Tennessee after the Pavia case that would be not favorable for Zeigler: Judge denies Alberto Osuna’s bid for injunction as he attempts to play baseball for Tennessee | AP News
