Just as a headâs up: If youâre trying to use the > trick to make your twitter link show in your post, it makes a difference if the link is twitter.com/whatever or x.com/whatever
Elon is doing a bang-up job over there.
Fwiw, I think the app defaults to X.com, and the laptop version still goes to Twitter.com.
I guess there are pros and cons to interoperability, but it certainly doesnât seem to be something current leadership seems to care about
A simpler way imo is just to highlight the web address after pasting it in then hit the blockquote option at the top.
HmmmmâŚlegitimate question: would this mean that private universities with higher endowments have a comparative advantage?
There are way too many variables to even start to answer that coherently. But I generally think that, absent some sort of a salary cap that has been collectively bargained, and maybe even with, teams with the largest revenue sources (tickets and conference media rights deals, mostly) will generally have the biggest advantage, just like they have the biggest advantages now in coaching salaries, and nice facilities, and recruiting budgets, etc.
Agree. Most endowment money is encumbered for other purposes. Thatâs not to say a university couldnât raise endowment money for such a purpose. Tony has an endowed coach position, some professors have endowed chairs, why not an endowed playerâŚ
âStarting tonight for Virginia is Reece Beekman, the Doug E. Fresh endowed point guard!â
Man now thats what Im talkin about!
The kid pays you to be on the team?
These anonymous coach articles are always good. The wide range of approaches is interesting is this one. Not to mention the cringe terminology being usedâŚnegotiating to get players under slot value haha
So âA Coach in the ACCâ is JWilly right?
Good guess since Tony probably doesnât want to spend his time on this type of interview.
But definitely sounds like UVA

Certainly a good cause, and I understand the effort to reach young people through student athletes. They could try closing the border to stop fentanyl from reaching people at all though.
