Not to get overly political, but I thought we as a society recognized that most felony marijuana possession charges/convictions were prime examples of systemic racism…
I caveat this with the fact that I don’t know any of the specifics of this particular case.

Agree Nate Oats is a dirt bag, but I don’t equate having a pound of marijuana and cash at your residence to be nearly the same as delivering a gun to the scene of a murder
Shit should be legal everywhere anyway, already practically is outside a handful of backwards states

Also, still no CROWN bracket despite them dropping from 16 to 8 teams. There was talk that they would penalize teams for declining bids last year (which led to teams technically playing, but with like five seniors and two walk ons because everyone else was in the portal) but I wouldn’t be surprised if they got rid of that rule this year

Looking at the bracket, I’m having a really tough time seeing any upsets on the 1-5 lines. I know there will likely be a few, there’s just nothing that stands out to me except for maybe Akron/TTU. Does anybody have any double-digit seeds they like?
Carolina is a 6 not a 5 but I like VCU at 11

I almost went for UNI over St. John’s and Hofstra over Alabama but couldn’t quite do it. Akron is the only 12+ seed I have winning, and I don’t even feel great about that
How safe is Hubie’s job if he loses to vcu?
Like I know he’s in “one more year” territory given how his roster looks next year, so his hot seat is like a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10 right now, but would it tick up at all with an upset, that close to home to boot? It’s absolutely below the Carolina standard, and there’d be the added indignity of half the arena being there as Duke fans for the other pod on the bill.
