Q for next J-Willy show: please explain the trick photography and CGI necessary to make it look like you can hit halfcourt hook shots.
Uh oh. Wasnt the last one at UNC?
Yep. BAD sign.
how does this drill help basketball coaches amongst us?
My first thought is that the drill makes you stick to your muscle memory because you shoot so quick. The research on the “yips” suggests that the more automatic you make the process, the better, it’s when you start thinking that you have problems. Dirk Nowitzki used to sing to himself when he got on the line so he could keep his mind off of his form and just let muscle memory take over.
I bet some NBA teams have done some interesting internal research on FTs
Looked a lot better than the one Caffaro tried recently.
He looks a lot happier than he did in the airport.
boy I wonder where Tony stands on UNC denying the NIT invite, lol. Also, woof on the Redshirt answer at the end, last question
Everyone looks happier when they’re not in an airport.
Is Powerade paying them NIL for every time they pick up their cup?
On the redshirt question: He didn’t sound like someone who thought one of his redshirts was transferring. Or maybe he’s just really a good actor.
I remember him saying something similar about Dre, wondering whether they should burn the redshirt after Austin Nichols left the team.
more just reacting to the fact that Tony just verbalized publicly in front of the national media what I think every time I watch Isaac T shoot the ball
Most notable thing to me is that Jeff White asked the question. I generally think that’s a good thing.
Agreed. Tony’s got a good poker face, but he didn’t seem particularly annoyed or concerned about the question.
