Dawn Staley has been HOF level coach and recruiter in WBB. Can we afford to roll the dice on the transition to MBB? No middle ground would either be a home run or complete strike out. One thing for sure it would bring a lot of national attention to the program initially.

Iām not necessarily advocating for Dawn, though I would be very excited if we did somehow hire her. I do think it could work. I understand why some would be hesitant. Ultimately itās extremely unlikely but I do think she should be given some consideration.

While weād all love the answer to that, Iām sure we wonāt get it until after season. I think it can certainly be implied to be a āsuccessfulā (you can make your own meaning) head coach currently employed elsewhere. That wonāt get leaked because it would cause a problem in whatever that current coaches situation is.
Honestly respect to @USSoccer13 for not spilling the beans. Keeping life easy for his source.

Yeah I agree. And I like to play the guessing gameā¦ my list of potential coaches to fit this description would be Shaka Rhoades Byington DeVries Hoiberg. Maybe throw in Odom but heād be the last thing above the tier 1 cut off if Iām including himā¦
