Where are you feeling todaythis weekend? (if these are the choices)
…that was kind of a busted play lol.
That was my thought. Some aimless (oh im stuck time to kick out the ball)
@DFresh11 Henderson? Is that your New Jersey speaking?
Trilly Donovan would actually agree with you. Chatting him up he is also higher on Henderson than others
Good friend played with him at Princeton so thats my move
I’m intrigued, partly because of wanting to see the Princeton offense with power conference talent. It’s a mark in his favor that he found two talents that are probably too good for the Ivy in Xaivian Lee and Caden Pierce, but a mark against him that he got them back this year and the team isn’t as good. Like any mid-major guy, you wonder how his recruiting scales up, but perhaps helpful that he’s coming from a smarty pants school.
Jeff Capel about to be eliminated from contention.
The Fighting Byington’s vs Kentucky has tipped off.
And for Rick Carlisle truthers, you got to watch his Pacers team dismantle the Spurs right before.
Why doesn’t Chris Jans get attention (yes I know about his tenure ending at Bowling Green a decade ago).?
Because of that ending. And he’s probably sticking in the midwest somewhere (he is also a candidate for Iowa)
Will say Byington’s offense is fun, but despite everyone being labeled a pg, they dont really have a true pg which has caused them to miss some wide open cuters and shooters at time.
Do hope if we get byington he still has actual pgs on the roster that will elevate his ceiling from JMU/middle of pack Sec team to 2014-2019 UVA.
They have one on the bench, freshman Tyler Tanner. He’s really good.
If we do land Byington he’d be one of my top wants as a transfer.
Yeah, I get it but that was 10 years ago and he’s coaching at Miss State for gawd’s sake and winning. My only knock is that he’s 55.
will fit in perfectly here
People who really wanna see us play more aggressive and care about pace should be rooting hard for Byington. They are relentless without being reckless.
29% from 3 but 50% (FIFTY) fg and 2.2 steals a game
Also only two turnovers committed in 379 minutes played.
Edwards, McGlockton, Tanner, Carey, and Nickel (yuck) all have eligibility left and I’d take all of them if Byington came here.
Not a fan of carry. Not very efficient and undersized. Has had a few nice games but some really bad games as well. We can do better there.
Also feel edwards go pro.
Feel like Vanderbilt is like Utah State under calhoun. one or two nice players but otherwise its the coaching and schemes that are succeeding, not the individual talent
I do feel for vandy fans. new facilities. Wins over tennessee and this kentucky domination first half.
Only to get their coach poached
Chance Byington is too successful? Vandy throws more money at him?
