I donāt know for sure, but Iād guess the missing shots come after a dead ball turnover, where there is no opportunity for transition.
Yeah, I was thinking probably out of bounds plays.
Whoa, @wahoo19 just looked at the plot of that movie. Thatās one way to rise up the corporate ladderā¦
Yeah the ācompany manā plot is very of its time but a damn good movie nonetheless, would probably be looked on a little differently if that movie came out today
On top of everything else itās a great Christmas movie. I try to watch it every year (along with THE MIRACLE OF MORGANāS CREEK).
This looks like a really cool project and Iāll be interested to see the results.
So in Yiddish and borrowed into English⦠it means something like āgood personā or āold good personā⦠Iād equate it to OG for a loose equivalentā¦
⦠but in German, Mensch officially means āhumansā⦠so in an every day sentence it means that⦠however if you yell it in frustration like⦠āMensch!ā⦠it means āf%cking sh!t!ā⦠German is weird.
The high press only works if you have some runners on your team though⦠if not, it can fail miserably.
Oh yeah I put 5 of my best 6 runners and tacklers up for the first 2 minutes after every goal⦠allowed or scored⦠I also donāt pigeon hole my kids into positions at 8U, 10U and 12U⦠I want them learning the whole game⦠also gives me flexibility for no shows and sickness⦠also allows my midfielders to rest for parts of games by moving them back to defense and moving defenders up ⦠my goalies also play striker at times as well.
Ugh⦠Iām in the middle of my litany of annual training CBTs⦠and lucky me, as an Air Force Reservist, I have to do them for the military too⦠so itās HOURS of these dumb training modulesā¦
- Complete 4 hours of annual compliance training for your job?
- Watch a 4 hour VT football game where they roll over a Division 2 team with 10 VT fans?
Getter done man
For anyone watching Winning Time on HBO, about the 80s Lakers teams, hereās actual clips of the Pat Riley intro press conference
Alcaraz vs Medvedev⦠crazy good stuff by Medvedev
By both. Carlos saved 3 match points.
In post game interview he said that before the match he had thought he needed on a scale of 1-10 to play at level 11. He felt he actually played at level 12. I agree. He made some amazing run downs and shot making.
I donāt watch a ton of tennis, but that one made me stay up. I, like most everyone else, thought Alcarez would win the 4th and 5th sets after he took care of the third one easily.
I was at that game ![]()
Wow. They would proly all shoot 90 percent if they didnt use the back board method
Outside - look in at UVA Program
These guys are brutal haha
Tonyās not a good coach, heās an awesome, HOF coach. But heās an awesome HOF coach whoās epically bad at the first round of the tourney. Weād be better off having Tony step down and having J-Willy or Sanchez coach in the first round. As I said last March, we are even past all the āsmall numbersā excuses. Heās just bad at it.
And we are too in our head about it ā best evidenced by Ty talking about J-Willy yelling during the UMBC halftime. We are tied at 21 with a crap team in the most important game of the year, and the most memorable thing about that is that one of the coaches raised his voice? Really? Thatās what you remember? Not trying to roast Ty, but the fact that THAT was the memory is telling about our mindset in those round 1s.
