That’s crazy that JJ said he had never heard it described that way - that going right your shoulder is farther and takes more turn to get squared … we’ve talked about that here many times … shows the level of insight on LRA!!!

I realized that my sophomore year of HS playing one on one after practice… loved going left 17 foot pull-up.

Yessir. Knew you would appreciate

But if they were smarter here they could have used Kyle Guy as the perfect example

Cam seems like a smart thoughtful guy too

JJ asked about best young shooting prospect and Cam said Trey.

Nobody asked me, but golf with a Roman backdrop just seems discordant to me

this is cool:

Kihei had a big three late in the first half to cut the G-W lead from 9 to 6.

Interesting. One thing I don’t like are drills where one guy is doing something for 10 minutes while everyone else stands around. But I like the drill, just need to see it in a gym with six baskets.

Anyone have the TL;DR with Brogs and the Celtics? Was he not happy there, or was including him in the deal just the cost of getting Jrue?

The Athletic has a decent overview. Seems like a variety of factors. Injury concerns by the Celts (and around the league ), Brogs was upset about the near trade to the Clippers, and further upset that Derrick White was named the starter after the Smart trade without the ability to compete for the job. Brogs was working out in Boston but had only been in touch with Brad Stevens and had made it known he preferred a fresh start, although he was willing to come back in his sixth man role.

Pre-trade, but I thought this article had some interesting anonymously-sourced thoughts:

Very interesting- it’s not just NBA leadership that may not like being “questioned”, but it happens in real life as well, however I hope that Boston was straight with him regarding this trade to Portland.

(as long as I’m blowing off the morning, anyway…)

Goodman is totally correct about this. The first week schedule stinks. This is why we need to get coaches and teams out of scheduling, and have a third party do it. Coaches want an easy first game to get the jitters out. So add another preseason scrimmage or whatever. Starting with ACC games was actually a very good idea, but coaches are way too narrow-minded to understand. This way you have Brownell and Capel-- and whatever other coach will spend his early March whining about the selection process and his late November losing to crappy noncon opponents – getting their early season bad losses out of the way in a closed system where it won’t hurt the rest of us.

Someone send this to CTB for a final play… just might work better than the ones we’ve used in the past. LOL! Heck… just call the Burge twins and they can come demonstrate it!
