🙄 No Holds Barred Thread - A Haney/DavetheWave Production

Some had talked about the run and gun style some places …
Here is a game from the only year in high school all 3 Ball brothers played together.
This is a state playoff semifinal game where all 10 starters in the game were signed by D1 schools.

BIG O Snap…such an incredible urban sobriquet…

It’s not as cool as it sounds… my father moved us there when I was around 4… we were only there for 3-years as it turns out Chino Hills’ two biggest profit centers were Porn Studios and Thoroughbred Racing Stables…

We were there for the 1984 Olympics and we could walk to where they had all the shooting events like air rifle and archery, so that was cool I guess…

Ha. Imma guess some people would consider those 3 things very cool but I get it. Hahaha

I lived in like 6 places growing up especially when I was real young. Can be a great way to grow up. I loved every place and still have great friends from all of em

What thread is this again?

Thank you for posting. Far to young. He was a good and decent man.

I hate that. I’ll always remember him for one play in particular. We were playing Indiana in the Elite 8. He stole the ball with about 30 seconds to go and went the length of the court to make a layup that put us in the Final 4. Great defensive player with no handle. I was scared to death that he was going to lose that ball dribbling down the court with an Indiana guy closing fast. What a huge play that has always stuck out to me
Rest in Peace
