Rumor is that Google hosts a variety of Twitter databases and Twitter underpaid them. So Google is now throttling access to the databases in response which is why Twitter is doing this.

No idea if it’s true or even plausible, but I figured I’d pass it along.

Edit: these things happen when a company no longer just burns through money and takes losses no matter what.

Edit 2: i was never an Musk fan before. But I do think his decisions at twitter are mostly all correct.

If you use lists, there are still currently no limits. Lists are all I use, helps separate different interest.
