I think this generation figured out that you want the big time stars to do well cause then everyone gets paid paid. Rare to see rivalries like back in the day where guys hated each other
Magic Bird and Jordan were making some millions playing ball where now dudes you never heard of making like 10mm year

Funny story from my HS jazz band days… we were in the middle of a concert and I was on piano…
We were supposed to be playing Take the A Train which starts with a quick riff by the piano and the drums…
I’m not sure what I was thinking in my head but I started playing Song for my Father… which also starts with a quick riff by the piano and drums…
My jazz band didn’t even miss a beat and played Song for my Father. When we ended our conductor said we just played our first encore in the middle of the concert and immediately teed us up for Take the A Train…
