I think he was at Goldman, but not 100% sure.

Edit - I checked, and he was indeed at Goldman. The betting worked fine for a while, then he became a “cannabis entrepreneur” and is doing well.

Oh, that’s cool. Small world. He’s been out for over 20 years, but you might have met my buddy at one time or another. Arvind Rao. Worked at various desks at various firms over the years but started in options trading for… crap, somewhere that failed in the 90s.

I know Frank Rao! ha. ask your guy if he ever met me

Yeah, I’ll ask him.

Options trading is a world that’s really changed over the last 30 years. Making a market for 5,000 stocks at a time, making basis points off each trade.

Man I could talk all day about this. “making a market” From the exchange to trading desks to sales etc

When’s Tony going to offer? lol

Also it makes me think about reading Bobi Klintman’s interview where he said his dad (a former overseas player) wouldn’t let him shoot 3s until he was older. Is it maybe detrimental for kids to pick up the sport so intensively at a young age? Developing habits and what not.

That’s a good question about shooting too far when you’re young, but that may be an old school way of thought. I mean that video earlier of those 7th? graders shooting it from Curryland- I mean if you can shoot properly then why not start shooting further out if your form is good.

Was being productive at work aka watching Matisse Thybulle clips to get my hype of Leon Bond aka better Matisse Thybulle and I came across this.

For as good a defender as Matisse Thybulle is, Tony would have an aneurysm with this defensive approach lol. I wonder how he was even able to develop these tendencies with all the coaches in his life along his career.

I also want to thank the above video for helping me find my Ryan Dunn comparison. He was the only one I didn’t have a comparison for in terms of playstyle and gait/physical characteristic. (not saying he will be as good, or saying he won’t be as good. Just the first time ive seen clips of another player line up with what Dunn shows in clips).

Wow, similar height, build, and both grew up on the south shore of Long Island. And Green won a natty (UNC) and three rings with three different teams. Not too shabby!

Looks like we’re losing Steven Leonard, who has done a lot of great work at improving our social media presence across a bunch of sports. Sad to see him leave, kid is definitely going places.

Oh, man. I follow Steve on insta as well. He did a tremendous job during his time in Cville. If I recall correctly, he’s a Hoosier. Whatever he does next, I’m sure he’ll be a success. I just hope he doesn’t go to a team I dislike cuz I’d like to continue following him.
