4 non blondes What’s Up is an all timer. Last song to play at my wedding despite the DJ pushing hard for Journey. I said eff that noise. Nothing like a big group of absolutely hammered people dressed well and belting out “yeah a yeah yeah yeah.” Good times.

Burton Cummings is one of the great voices of R&R. Supposedly, the Guess Who are too “bubble gum” for the Hall of Fame, yet Dolly Paryon (who is a GOAT) was voted in with the closest thing to a “rock” song is 9 to 5. She was so embarrassed that is why she recorded Rockstar.

I remember skipping school to get Janet Jackson RN tickets for the Capital Center in Landover.

The mall where the ticket office was like 2 blocks from my HS and on the walk over, one of my teachers was late for school, and passed me in his car. He busted a U and pulled up and asked me why I was skipping
didn’t lie, I told him. He then tells me he forgot about them going on sale that day and wouldn’t turn me in if I picked up tickets for him and his wife. He went to the ATM and found me in line about 15 minutes later :rofl::rofl:
