Yeah, Iâm fine with him leaving. He turned out somewhat better than I expected but he isnât some critical piece. And he doesnât care about UVA (which is fine - go make that money - but Iâm not invested in you walking the lawn like McKneely or something). More excited to get attached to the new coachâs guards.

I came to appreciate and like Dai Dai as the season wore on. But heâs essentially just a spot-up three-point shooter with a somewhat reliable pull-up midrange. Sure, he was the best on the team at getting into the lane or finishing at the basket or creating his own shot â but that says more about our team than it says about him. I think there are a lot of people who have the same set of skills and are better at it.

Man we need guards who can actually get right to the rim and have just a really strong feel for the game. We didnât have that this year outside flashes from Rohde at times. Odomâs VCU team had 0 guards with this trait.
Monday will be fun.

Have watched bits and pieces when Iâve been able, but tbh you havenât missed much. Pretty underwhelming first slate.

Houston made a case for a mercy rule but only one or two games have even been close. The last 8 minutes of Clemson v McNeese was an interesting watch.
