Do not forget Univ Cafeteria on the Corner. Closed on Saturday. About 3 doors down from Mincers.

The Tavern was awesome…as long as I kept my mind off of what the kitchen looked like.

If I remember correctly, it was ā€œtownpeopleā€

God, I miss that place.

Early in my first year some older students swung by the dorm and introduced a bunch of us to the corner by way of a gus at the spot and a grillswith at the UD. (The one eye would happen later.) It was glorious.

And that children is how your father gained 15 pounds his first semester.

Tunneling was so much fun! You could go a long ways in those tunnels, and it was best in the winter time when it was nice and warm. Lots of cool old graffiti down there too. Wish someone took some photos of carvings and dates down there, lots of history.

Holy shit. What was tunneling?

Steam tunnels underneath the University. You could open up manholes all around grounds and travel under there. We used to be able to get one from old dorms and end up on the lawn. Really large tunnels for the steam pipes and such underneath. Was a lot of fun. One of my hall mates at Humphries put together a map!

Lots of carved dates and letters from early 1900’s, although I can’t remember how early.

Forgot about ā€œtownpeopleā€. Do we think that was a Kansas City Chefs situation? Or did they just like townpeople better?

Absolute GOAT slogan.

My town growing up Fayetteville Tennessee had a sign ā€œwhere tradition meets tomorrowā€

F does that mean
