But that’s always going to happen at UVA. regardless. The top targets dont give a flying fuck about march madness. They care about other things that the programs they commit to sell.
Guys, guys - if we waste all of our program angst and early tournament exit takes now during the season, what will we have left over for the offseason? You gotta space this stuff out! Wait until after we fall to UC Davis in the first round of the NCAA tournament and Chance Mallory commits to Maryland before busting this stuff out.

Yeah, I mean, as rough as things have been on occasion this season, at least we’re not a top 10 team getting absolutely humbled by unranked teams.
Seton Hall up by 15 over UConn with three minutes left. Tons of parity in college basketball this year.
Winning on the road feels nearly impossible this year. Sheesh
It’s why I’m kinda surprised how doom and gloom we’ve been since Northeastern. We’ve looked great at times and terrible at times. No different than most top 25 teams.

Agreed. We are a good not great team right now. Lack of experience/go to guy in the paint is our limiting factor. Right now the two keys to victory for us are 3P% and TOs. If we are making 3s and not turning the ball over (7 or 8 or less) we will win, if we shoot poorly and have closer to 10 or more TOs it will be awfully hard to win especially against a good team. This team has a very wide range of possible outcomes, from a bubble team to a 3 seed IMO. My guess is we settle in the 5-8 seed range.
This time of year is always the worst for fluky upsets or just horrible performances in general. Everybody wanting to go home for Christmas, half empty arenas etc.
