I guess I will whine here. Watching all these big games today with the top teams and it makes me want us to be elite again so bad. Of course, we all want that, but I feel like we have been mediocre long enough now; Iām done. I knowā¦I am losing patience, but it is probably just a mood.
Houston, which was set to be the #1 overall seed has 28 points with 12 mins left. What an ugly style of basketball. Who wants to watch that?
What I would give to have Momcilovic on this team
4-star recruit too; we need some of ours to pan out like that.

Watching my Aztecs, and man LeDee is so good. How we could use a big-man stud like him.
Edit: Maybe Cofie in a couple years?
LeDee is a Grown Ass Man
I know everyone talks ad nauseum about the fun of the MWC, but this championship game is outstanding.
Edit: Oh, and the Aztecs have made their last 16 free throws in a row.
Quite literally: heās 24 years old (class of 2018 coming out of HS).
Pretty crazy list: Diebler maybe full time and fired Monson going to NCAA tourney are biggies

From Eamonn Brennan, in his Purdue update:
We also heard some chat on TV about this loss making Purdue fans nervous in advance of the NCAA Tournament. Well, sure. As someone who covered every step of Virginiaās national title in 2018-19, letās just make it clear that nothing will make Purdue fans rest easy until they win their first-round game. Virginia trailed at halftime of its first post-UMBC tournament game; UVa fans in that building looked devastated and there were 20 minutes left to play. UVa ended up winning the title. That Virginia team also lost in the semifinals of the conference tournament. Just saying.
Virginia only lost to its cryptonite only that season - uber long athletic teams with lots of NBA talent. Purdue has lost to a variety of styles. That would concern me if I was a Purdue fan.
It was not good.
Bjorkās title implies that thereās a Senior Advisor for Intracollegiate Athletics thatās way too invested in the functioning of the student kickball league at OSU.
I canāt understand how an injury like that happens. Kevin Ware was the same deal. Just an ordinary jump and land, nothing notable about it⦠and your leg snaps? Itās scary.
One of the many things for which Iām never fully appreciated around here (or anywhere really) is my Mahorcic forward thinking :
Heās dancing!
