I always feel like Gonzaga’s problem is they don’t get enough tough competition before they tournament which ends up biting them in the butt when games get close with equivalent competition.

I don’t think they have a problem at this point tbh. Longest Sweet Sixteen streak in the country. Believe three Elite Eights in that stretch. Very likely would’ve won a national title if they got a fair whistle against UNC. Just have to keep knocking to steal a phrase from TB.

I want Gonzaga to lose. It is going to be so annoying if they end non-conference play ranked #1. Basically means they are #1 the entire season. Yes they are good. I won’t hate on Gonzaga for their skill or a team, they have been consistently good. I will absolutely hate on which conference they are in. Cheering for BYU, St Marys, San Francisco, or Pepperdine to get the upset is not something I want to annually waste energy on.
