That being said, what a weird quote in general even without the whole blatant racial issue. Adults in my neck of the woods growing up would just say “Keep your head in the game” or “Pull your shit together”
Watching Baylor-West Virginia and as much as I hate to say it either one of those teams would just flat out smoke us. Just a different level of physicality than we can handle.

I think his point is just that, and even further back: it’s been a long time since he’s seen teams that could “smoke us.” We have a team this year that has shown it can be smoked. Normally our defense makes it to where that is simply impossible.

Exactly. Any game that was going to be a physical rock fight and I knew we had a great chance. That’s just not the case this year. No big deal. We’ll be back to that point sooner than later.
