Hubert and Old Roy have like complete opposite approaches to recruiting. The UNC brand lets them sort of get away with things others can’t but they use it in different ways. Roy liked to take his time, evaluate, stretch things out and decide which players he really wanted. Hubert just kinda says if you’re coming to UNC you need to do it now.

Any effect on the Stevenson recruitment?
I don’t think so. Helps UNC if anything. It’s already crowded. Doubt he sees Brown as immediate competition. Makes Stevenson “the missing piece”.

UNC is gonna try to close the 2024 class with Stevenson and Boogie Fland, might even see Cadeau on campus a year early if they get their way.
