I couldn’t find confirmation anywhere else, but a poster on IC said Efton Reid has committed to Wake. I had kinda thought it would be VCU. Of course, said poster might be confusing Reid with Hunter Sallis who did go from Gonzaga to Wake. Anyone care to enlighten me?
My guess is they’re getting confused. That said, Efton is supposed to be visiting Wake this week and is down to Wake/VCU. Probably has a decision announced this time next week.
Efton’s issue is that this is his 2nd transfer. You’d think VCU as the hometown school almost has to be the choice for him to be able to argue a hardship waiver, though maybe there’s family in NC as well.

I have to say that I honestly don’t care where Hunter Dickinson goes at this point. Tired of the constant hype and speculation, so it will be a relief when I don’t have to hear about it anymore. But that’s just me.
